UPSC : UPSE (Union Public Service Commission) IAS exam scheduled in June has been postponed. According to our sources, it has been decided to postpone the exam due to widespread of Corona.
Firstly, The exam date was set on June 27, but now it has been decided to postpone the exam to October 10. The notification of the exam was released on March 4, 2021 and the last date to apply for the examination was 24 March.
Due to widespread of Corona, many examinations in the country have either been canceled or postponed.
Candidates who applied for the UPSC IAS exam were also demanding the government to postpone the examination further. As Corona cases are increasing in the country, so the government has decided to postpone the exam till October.
In the UPSC IAS preliminary examination, 2 papers will be of objective type, the number of this exam will not be included in the final merit list. For applying in the UPSC examination, the candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized institute.
Due to the rapid spread of 2nd wave of COVID-19 Infection, CBSE has to cancel the 10th examination this year and the 12th examination has been postponed. Apart from this, the Board of Education of states has also canceled the exam of 10th and postponed the exam of 12th.
